Ba’Ghetto Florence brings the experience of Jewish-Roman and Middle Eastern kosher cuisine to Florence. Here the rules of kashrut are strictly followed under the control of the Jewish Community of Florence and for this reason milk and dairy products, crustaceans or invertebrates are not served.

The location

Located in via Luigi Carlo Farini 5/r, the restaurant is in front of the beautiful Synagogue and a few minutes from the main monuments and squares of the city. The restaurant is in the center of the lively Sant’Ambrogio district that is the area of craftsmanship and traditions. It is characterized by narrow streets closed to traffic where it is possible to walk, shop and browse through the various antique shops or in the famous Sant’Ambrogio Market, which offers a glimpse of daily life in the Renaissance city.

The restaurant is a small jewel that welcomes its customers in its rooms with an intimate and elegant atmosphere or in its outdoor area overlooking the splendid Synagogue.

The cuisine

Ba’Ghetto is characterized by the fusion of Jewish-Roman culinary tradition, the kosher vision of food, the search for ingredients and the typical recipes of Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu is designed in compliance with the Jewish dietary rules contained in the Torah, the sacred Jewish book . It  is truly a nice mix of Jewish cuisine dishes, Roman and Middle Eastern.
