Located in the heart of the Jewish ghetto, one of the most fascinating neighborhoods in the city, is a small jewel in the historic center. You can eat outside enjoying a fascinating atmosphere, with the view of a monument erected by Emperor Augustus in honor of his sister: the famous Portico di Ottavia which once marked the boundary that Jews could not cross at night. This is also a place that was used as “cottio”, a peculiar fish auction in which the whole Roman population partecipated. The wine list has a wide selection of Italian and Israeli labels, with tags from France, Chile and California.
